racehorse

You wouldn’t feed a race horse crap and you wouldn’t treat him like a barn animal. You would feed him the best and train him to perform at his best. Ironically, we expect our minds to perform at peak levels, but we treat it pretty poorly through lack of sleep, unmanaged stress levels, poor eating, and little exercise. Treat yourself well and you will live better.

Most people want to compartmentalize their health from their work or mind activities but they are one in the same. What you eat and what activities you engage in will result in either a win or lose in the way your brain works. If you are ignoring or paying little attention to your eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, or stress levels you, are essentially creating some unnecessary road blocks in how the rest of you performs.

Take an honest inventory of your physiology today and determine what you can do to start to shift the needle in the right direction.

Are you sleeping enough?

Try an app called ‘Sleep Cycle’ that will actually wake you up the end of a sleep cycle vs, the middle which is     much better for you.

Try meditation in the evening if you are struggling to fall asleep.

Commit to drinking a glass of water at the top of every hour.
