Finally! I am going to reveal the last step!

You know what you want to change. You know what those areas currently look like. You are aware of the decisions, actions, and choices that have led you there. Lastly, you know exactly what you want that area to look like by the end of the year.

So what next?

I want you to detail out all the new rituals that you will adopt to see that vision through.

If you want to go from a size 20 to 10, what are you going to stop doing, start doing or continue doing?

List out those things you are going to stop doing first. Decide that what you want is far more important then those small moments of pleasure you may gain from things that don’t get you any closer to your goals.

Next list out all the things you are going to continue to do. Sometimes we have already made some good decisions and actions towards our goals. Don’t stop those; continue them if they are going to help you get closer to your goals.

Lastly list out all the things you are going to start doing. Don’t overwhelm yourself with things you realistically wont start doing. If you don’t currently run 5 miles every day, then don’t put that down. Maybe put down that you will start running 10 minutes every day.

Next reverse engineer what you really want so you have points of accountability and landmarks along the way.

If you want to be out of debt, determine how much you would need to pay off by the end of the year and then determine how much you would need to make each month to make that happen. If you are not currently making that revenue, that is where you start playing around with your rituals to determine how you gain that extra income.

If you want to lose 50 pounds by the end of the year, how much do you need to lose each month, and what rituals will get you there?

Reading this over before I send it off to you, it all seems a little overwhelming. I get it. Change is hard. Change requires time and effort. Change means moving out of our comfort zone. But unless you change, you won’t ever see your vision come to pass.
